Momma C.

Bird families are remarkable. It is sheer joy to observe a momma cardinal (and daddy too), teach their little ones the ropes. This mixed media work combines gouache paintings with off-loom beadwork. The paintings by Kenneth Ferguson are gouache on panel, archivally varnished. The monogram is designed and stitched by Diana Ferguson using glass cylinder beads & monofilament thread.

This shadowbox construction is 7.5'' x 7.5'' x 2". It can be displayed hanging on a wall or sitting on a shelf.
